Center for American Studies: “A Conversation with President Lincoln and Judge Douglas”

 

The Center for American Studies at Christopher Newport University, a JMC partner program, is holding its annual debate for Constitution Day. This year’s presentation is titled, “A Conversation with President Lincoln and Judge Douglas” and will feature George Buss (as Lincoln) and Tim Connors (as Douglas).

George Buss and Tim Connors have entertained and educated a variety of audiences for several years with their engaging portrayals of our nation’s 16th president and his famous opponent. Enthusiasts and history buffs, the pair are passionate about their parts. From small-town elementary school classrooms to national stages, Mr. Buss uses his vast resources to customize a perfect presentation for every audience.
