The Honors College at the University of Tulsa invites applications for potentially renewable contracted faculty role.

This faculty role requires a PhD in philosophy, literature, languages, history, classics, theology, political theory, art history, or other humanities discipline. The contract faculty member must demonstrate excellence in both teaching and mentoring, as well as demonstrated knowledge of the classical liberal arts tradition, which makes up the core curriculum in the college. Additionally, this role requires the ability to be passionate about liberal learning and can contribute to the life of the college both inside and outside the classroom.

The responsibilities of this position include 80% teaching and 20% service to the college in the form of mentoring and advising. This position comes with a competitive salary plus full TU employee benefits.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a PhD in philosophy, literature, languages, history, classics, theology, political theory, art history, or other humanities discipline. One year of experience is preferred.
