Jeffrey K. Tulis is Associate Professor in the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin. He is the author of The Constitutional Presidency (Johns Hopkins 2009), The Limits of Constitutional Democracy (Princeton, 2010). His latest book, co-authored with Andrea Mellow, is Legacies of Losing in American Politics (Chicago, 2017).
