Post-doctoral fellowships

JMC postdoctoral fellows collaborate with esteemed professors at leading universities, teaching courses on the Founding’s foundational concepts and crafting scholarly works crucial for navigating today’s competitive academic job market.

The Jack Miller Center supports campuses by sponsoring faculty and young scholars, funding positions, identifying promising scholars, and offering ongoing career support as fellows launch their academic careers. We also partner with donors to establish impactful post-doctoral fellowships aligned with their interests.

For more information about post-doctoral fellowships, please contact our team at academics@gojmc.org.

The American Political Thought Journal

In 2012, The University of Chicago Press and the Jack Miller Center launched the journal, American Political Thought: A Journal of Ideas, Institutions and Culture, the only peer-reviewed academic journal exclusively devoted to its subject.

This multidisciplinary journal provides a much-needed venue for scholars interested in works and themes around American political thought. Professor Benjamin Kleinerman, of Baylor University, and Professor Thomas Merrill, of American University, serve as its editors. Dr. Danielle Charette, of the University of Virginia, serves as the journal’s book review editor.
