Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 in Hodgenville, Kentucky. He is best known for his immense impact in leading our nation through a civil war and for ultimately abolishing slavery.
On November 21, 2019, the Center for the Study of Liberal Democracy at UW-Madison, will host a conference on the Missouri Compromise. Several JMC fellows will be speaking.
