On May 3, 2019, JMC fellow Rodolfo Hernandez spoke at the Kinder Institute at the University of Missouri on Vidal v. Girard’s Executors (1844). His work on the topic has appeared in Starting Points.
JMC Fellow Carli Conklin has recently written a book that considers the pursuit of happiness across a variety of intellectual traditions and explores its usage in key legal texts of the Founding Era.
