Emilee McHorney

Emilee McHorney joined the Jack Miller Center in July 2024 as the Teacher Programs Manager for the Midwest.

Emilee earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a legal studies emphasis. She then received an additional B.A. degree in Social Studies Secondary Education.

Prior to joining JMC, Emilee dedicated more than a decade to teaching in secondary schools, with a predominant focus on AP United States Government and Politics. She is also an exam reader for the College Board.

Emilee is passionate about empowering young people to participate in their democracy and fostering a rich understanding of American democratic ideals in the classroom.
