Capt. Edward W. Gantt

Edward W. Gantt is a retired Navy Captain, raised in Washington, D.C. and educated by its Public School System. He is a graduate of Howard University and the National Defense University. 

With thirty years of active-duty military service in the Army and Navy, he spent the majority of those years in aviation. Gantt served as a Naval Flight Officer in a number of F-14 TOMCAT squadrons based in Virginia Beach, VA, San Diego, CA, and aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers. From the fall of 2004 through the fall of 2022, he served as a high school teacher in public schools in Prince George’s County, MD and in Washington, DC. Since August 2021, he has served as Vice Commander-in-Chief of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW).
