Fred Beuttler

Fred W. Beuttler is a Lecturer in the Graham School’s Master of Liberal Arts Program at the University of Chicago. He has an extensive background researching the history and politics of institutions, previously serving as resident historian for the University of Illinois at Chicago and as Deputy Historian of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Beuttler also previously directed the General Education program at Carroll University, was a Senior Fulbright Lecturer at the University of Tuebingen, Germany, and was Associate Dean of the Graham School. Dr. Beuttler received his Ph.D. in History from the University of Chicago.
