Antonio Sosa is Associate Director for the Civitas Institute at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also currently a doctoral candidate in political philosophy at the University of Dallas, where he is focusing his dissertation on the thought of Alexis de Tocqueville.
Sosa’s writing has appeared in publications including Perspectives on Political Science and Law & Liberty. Prior to joining the Institute, Sosa taught courses at U-Dallas on classical political philosophy, the American Founding, European history, and the history of liberal education.
Sosa earned his B.A. in English and film from Penn State University and his M.A. in international relations from The New School.
