Teach for Freedom
A strategic campaign to transform civic education by America’s 250th birthday in 2026.
Pursuing the American dream takes knowledge. It’s time to get serious about civic education.
The Jack Miller Center’s mission is to reinvigorate education in America’s founding principles and history. We believe the best way to transform our classrooms is to empower dedicated professors and teachers.
The Center supports serious scholarship and strong undergraduate teaching, cultivates centers for civic thought on college campuses, develops innovative classroom resources, and provides rigorous content-based courses and seminars for K-12 teachers.
Since 2004, the Jack Miller Center’s educational programs have reached 48 states, 332 colleges, 2,500+ K-12 teachers, and over 2 million students. Our mission has inspired a movement and generated over $160 million in civic education investments.
Through our Teach for Freedom Campaign, we aim to bring the American political tradition to millions more students by our nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026.
