Understanding the Branches of Government through Primary Sources

The Indiana Bar Foundation and the Jack Miller Center are co-hosting a workshop in Indianapolis for teachers on the role of the three branches of government, checks and balances, and separation of powers within our American Constitutional democracy.

Participants will hear from Dr. Matthew Brogdon of Utah Valley University and explore primary sources to gain insight into this timely topic. Following the scholar session, the JMC and Bar Foundation will provide curriculum application breakdowns in sessions designed to bring this scholar presentation and content into your classroom effectively.

This program is free to attend and is open to all Indiana teachers. Lunch will be provided and participants will receive a $100 stipend.
