4th National Summit on Civic Education

Join like-minded organizations and philanthropists committed to reinvigorating American civic education with our nation’s founding principles.

Pennsylvania

The 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation provides a special opportunity to celebrate our common heritage as Americans in the very birthplace of our nation. The National Summit on Civic Education will bring together local and national civics practitioners in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to build upon an enduring movement to strengthen civics in our schools, universities, and cultural institutions.

As with past Summits, our America250 Summit will present bold ideas for reform and concrete actions that attendees can take to achieve this reform.

The Summit will place special emphasis on:

  • Elevating Philadelphia as the home for the growth of this movement.
  • Leveraging America250 as a catalyzing moment for lasting civics reform both locally and nationwide.

The Summit will be by forthcoming invitation only. Updates will be posted here. If you are interested in sponsoring this event, email Thomas Kelly, vice president of academic programs, at tkelly@gojmc.org.
