“Statesmanship in American History,” a Summer Institute for Teachers at Princeton University

The James Madison Program is hosting a weeklong seminar, in cooperation with the Gilder Lehrman Institute, at Princeton University. Teachers will explore the concept of statesmanship, the pursuit of politics at the highest level, through great American statesmen from George Washington to Abraham Lincoln to Frederick Douglass.
