Constitution Day: A Conversation on the Past, Present and Future of the 14th Amendment

Location: Nicholson Library, Austin Reading Room – Multi-purpose
To kick off the school year the Political Science Department is hosting an event for Consitution Day centering on the 14th Amendment. This event will feature professor Nicholas Buccola as well as two scholars with differing opinions on this issue. Ilan Wurman from Arizona State Law School, and Alison Gash from the University of Oregon. It will be formatted like a debate and will allow each scholar to speak for 15 minutes each, then engage in a moderated conversation, and then the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.
