George Washington University: Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science
The Department of Political Science at George Washington University invites applications for a one-year position as a visiting professor with a specialization in American Politics and Theory to begin August 2023.
The candidate hired will teach a 3-3 load of undergraduate classes during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or doctoral degree in Political Science or a related field by the date of appointment, with specialization in American Politics and Theory. Applicants must have experience teaching undergraduate courses.

- a statement of teaching experience;
- evidence of teaching effectiveness, preferably student evaluations;
- and include the names of three references (letters of recommendation are not required).
