Job Opportunity: Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Boise State

 

The Political Science Program at Boise State University seeks to fill a visiting position at the Assistant Professor level with a one year appointment for the 2018-19 academic year. The ideal candidate will specialize in the area of American politics. The expected teaching load for the position is 3 – 3 at the undergraduate level.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Terminal degree in a Political Science field (an ABD may be considered).

Preferred Qualifications: 

Specialization in American politics.

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

The ability to combine a strong research record in American politics with an ability to teach undergraduate level Political Science courses.

Interest, experience, and/or ability to promote cultural competency and/or diversity.

Salary and benefits:
