Hay Reviews Copeland’s Economic Interdependence and War

JMC Fellow William Anthony Hay reviews Dale C. Copeland’s Economic Interdependence and War

In his new volume on the reasons countries go to war, Dale C. Copeland (University of Virginia) argues that commercial factors have played a more significant role in the outbreak of war than either liberal or conservatives imagined.  Writing for Library of Law and Liberty, JMC Fellow William Anthony Hay (Mississippi State University) lauds the book as “a carefully argued contribution to the professional literature on international relations.”
