New Collaborative Statewide Effort

Founding Civics in Florida

In July 2020, JMC kicked off a major initiative in Florida with four virtual half-day seminars for social studies teachers across the state. Since then JMC has conducted more than 34 programs for 500+ Florida teachers. In partnership with the Ashbrook Center and Bill of Rights Institute, under the auspices of the American Civics and History Initiative (ACHI), all three organizations will conduct 179 programs by August 2022 expanding our combined reach to some 7,000 teachers.
