Alberto Coll and John Yoo: Debate on Presidential War Powers

The Kinder Institute of Constitutional Democracy at the University of Missouri will host legal scholars John Yoo (UC-Berkeley Law) and Alberto Coll (DePaul University Law) on campus to debate whether the U.S. President needs congressional authorization to involve the United States in foreign wars. University of Missouri Law School Professor Carli Conklin will moderate the debate, which will be held at 6:00 PM in Leadership Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
